These are just a few of the evil, despicable acts and commandments of the biblical “god” Jehovah:
Jehovah commanded Abraham to slit his son’s throat and offer him as a bloody sacrifice. The lunatic Abraham was willing to commit murder as a disembodied voice commanded him, a sure sign of insanity. Abraham was an ancient Son of Sam. Three self-alleged “great” religions inform us that Abraham was a “man of faith.” Yeah, right. What did his horrified wife think about her deranged husband? (Genesis 22:1-10)

Also, from what I have been able to gather, archeologists have confirmed that there never was that sort of widespread fiery destruction of the plain where Sodom and Gomorrah were said to exist. Christian “scientists” have claimed to have “found” Sodom but their dubious site is on the other side of the mountains Lot and his daughters were said to have hidden in, and far too far from the biblical site to qualify.
Why believe in an evil “god” who was clearly a human creation, since the biblical god knew nothing about how the universe was created or how life on earth first appeared? After all, the two Genesis creation accounts — yes, there are two conflicting Genesis creation accounts — are full of absurd errors, such as the claim that there is a solid “firmament” in the sky — a sort of transparent dome — that holds back the rainwater in a freshwater sea above the sky. Why? Because the Bible’s primitive authors did not understand the process of evaporation.

One thing overthrew my belief in the biblical god…
The Bible called David the man after God’s own heart and that was undoubtedly true because Jehovah was very big on foreskins and David offered 200 Philistine foreskins as a dowry for King Saul’s daughter in marriage. (1 Samuel 18:27)
Many years later, as an adult in my forties, I read the Bible from cover to cover again, to please my aging mother, but I came to exactly the same conclusion.
I read the Bible from cover to cover at age 11, and it was obvious to me that the biblical god was evil, a monster who mass-murdered men, women, children, toddlers, infants, babies, unborns in their mothers’ wombs, and trillions of animals. After reading the Bible, I wrote my first poem to express my conclusion:
Jehovah saved Lot from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah but murdered Lot’s wife for looking over her shoulder at her burning house. What would we do to a fireman who murdered a traumatized woman he was saving, for looking back? (Genesis 19:26)
There is also the question of how Lot and his daughters had wine to get drunk. The Bible says they were living in a mountain cave so remote the girls never saw any other men to have sex with. They had left all their possessions behind in the mad rush to escape the fiery destruction of Sodom. So how would they have had barrels or pots to make wine in? You can’t make wine on a rock.

How did the first known case of daughter-father date rape end up in the hole-y Bible? It sounds suspiciously like the drunken son-father date rape episode between Noah and Ham after the ark finally touched down. In both cases the purpose of the authors (or later editors) was to damn rival tribes by claiming their patriarchs were degenerates.

In conclusion, anyone who tells you the biblical god was “perfect” has extremely low standards for perfection. Any decent human being is vastly more moral than Jehovah, and let’s not forget that Jesus and Jehovah are “one” according to loopy Christian theology.
Lot having sex with his daughters to father the hated Moabites and Ammonites is no doubt one of many racist inventions of the liars who authored the Bible, but if they lied about one thing, they undoubtedly lied about many other things as well. Who can believe such a book?
How did you as a human being change while growing up?
A group of little boys called the prophet Elisha “baldy,” so Elisha cursed the boys “in the name of the LORD.” Of course the diabolical Jehovah, who was never happy unless he was mass-murdering children, honored the curse and two she-bears ripped into 42 boys, either killing or mutilating them. Whatever happened to turning the other cheek? (2 Kings 2:23-24)

And because the cave was so remote, how the hell did the authors of Genesis know what the daughters were saying and doing? It’s not like there was anyone to tell, and if there was, why would they confess such a terrible secret? And poor Lot was too drunk out of his mind to know what the hell was going on.

David was also like Jehovah in that David hated the handicapped (2 Samuel 5:8) and Jehovah hated them too and refused to let them enter his hoity-toity temple. Oddly, Jesus had compassion on the handicapped and must not have been the man after God’s own heart!
The Bible calls Lot “righteous” and Jehovah saved Lot and his family (other than that throwaway wife) alone out of all the inhabitants of two cities, but Lot was far from righteous. He offered his daughters to a mob of rapists, telling them to do as they pleased with them, and he later got drunk and had sex with his daughters, getting them both pregnant with degenerate sons who sired the tribes of Moab and Ammon. (Genesis 19:30-38)
Jehovah murdered Onan for spilling his seed (semen) on the ground and not getting his sister-in-law pregnant. If you have sex for pleasure instead of making babies, Jehovah will murder you! (Genesis 38:9-10)
God sends evil spirits to make human beings do evil things, as he did to King Saul. (1 Samuel 18:10)
